The Scottish Summer perhaps is late in arriving, but one thing for sure is that The Scottish Wedding Season has arrived just on Cue!
This month the wave of wedding season has really cranked-up the heat for the designers at Ginger&Lime Events. The past few weeks has been filled with client weddings and floral arranging classes, we've even managed to fit in a couple of photoshoots!
Congratulations to our lovely clients Laura and Mike, who got married at the very beautiful Mar Hall.
Laura and Mike wanted to create a relaxed look for their guests to enjoy. Of course, getting married at such a grand venue such as Mar Hall they wanted to bring a touch of Luxe and also a more refined look to the design.
We used blush linens, Champagne Sequin Cloths and bright blooms in.... GOLD JARS! Too much love for these here at Ginger&Lime Events.
Our favourite element or special touch seen at the wedding was the very charming inclusion of their animals, the lovely pair both work very closely with animals on a day-to-day basis and decided to have their own pets photos act as "Thank You" Cards on the favours! Every table had their much beloved pets photos.
We're loving our metallics, Spray Paint, touring amazing venues such as Rowallan Castle and Melville Castle and we hosted a lovely floral arranging class in Glasgow!
Lights, Camera.... & That's a Wrap!
The Designers had the great pleasure of working with Tub of Jelly (Wedding Photographer) during an alternative collaborative bridal shoot...
The Best Scottish Wedding Magazine asked us to feature in their floral section for July issue, there is a cheeky preview of the bouquet we created... to read what we had to say, along with other Scottish florists you can purchase your copy in all good retailers as of the 10th July!
Congratulations to the very beautiful Ashley and charming Leo!
The Ginger&Lime Designers headed towards the Kincardine Bridge to get to the picturesque venue: Kilconquhar Castle, for those that know the venue heading from Glasgow, you will be happy to know that our drivers very quickly got back onto the correct route in time for the wedding.
Ashley and Leo were having an intimate wedding with close family and friends, followed by one hell of a "shin-dig" in the evening of the wedding. The overall look maintained the same presence, which was a pretty vintage summer party with elements of Alice and wonderland coming through.
The colour palette was Pastels, the floristry team used blue hydrangea, protea flower, roses along with fixed foliages and seasonal flowers. The hire department supplied vintage crockery and we finished the design look with paper lanterns hanging from the ceiling.
Our favourite elements (Non G&L) HAD TO be... The amazing cakes made by The Occasional Cake Company based in St. Andrews, the owner and baker; Lesley, really made some glorious looking tasty treats! Such a lovely lady too!
